Dr. Stone release date revealed.
On Sunday, March 12th Crunchyroll shared a new preview and details for the upcoming third season of Dr. Stone, including its release date. The new season will be called "Dr. Stone: New World" and will premiere on April 6th at 10:30 a.m. ET.
The preview shows that after the Stone Wars, the former members of Tsukasa's Empire of Might will join forces with the Kingdom of Science to build a ship capable of sailing the open ocean and solving the mystery of the global petrification. However, before they can begin their journey, Senku and his friends must find key resources and make new scientific advancements to build the type of vessel they need.
The preview features a ship similar to those from the era of exploration and sailing, and fans can hear the new theme song "Wasure Gataki" sung by Huwie Ishizaki.
Crunchyroll has confirmed that the first dubbed episode of the third season will be available on April 20th at 3:30 p.m. ET, but only in English. The company has stated that other language dubs, including German, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin Spanish, Castilian Spanish, and Italian, will be available later.
The third season will cover two quarters of the year, but they will not be consecutive. There will be a break between the first and second halves of the season. Fans are eagerly anticipating more details about Senku and the Kingdom of Science's return.
